Job summary

CBRE Manila is seeking a Building Engineer to monitor and maintain building systems including mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and life-safety components. The role involves preventive maintenance, repairs, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.

The engineer will support energy management, assist in system upgrades, and help keep facilities safe and efficient for clients and occupants.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4–5 years of job-related experience.
• Universal CFC certification is preferred.
• Must meet physical requirements (stooping, standing, climbing stairs/ladders, lifting 50 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and life-safety systems to keep buildings compliant with standards.
• Follow codes, regulations, and safety directives related to building operations.
• Maintain energy management programs and ensure HVAC systems operate efficiently.
• Assist in preventive maintenance to extend equipment life and perform emergency repairs as needed.
• Adhere to safe storage, handling, and disposal of hazardous materials.
• Review building systems like fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure operations meet design specs.
• Share knowledge with teammates and lead by example in line with CBRE policies.
• Support cross-team collaboration to deliver reliable facility services.
