Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Building Engineer to monitor, maintain, and repair building systems across multiple facilities in the Philippines. The role covers plumbing, electrical, roofing, HVAC, and life-safety systems, with emphasis on preventive maintenance and energy efficiency.

The engineer will work within the Engineering and Technical Services function, providing reliable support to keep facilities operating at optimal performance and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed EE/ME.
• 3-4 years of relevant experience in Facilities/Building Management.
• Experience in maintaining building systems and performing preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain and repair building system operations (plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating, cooling).
• Provide support and preventive maintenance for equipment and systems.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and safety directives.
• Support energy management to maximize system efficiency.
• Assist with preventive maintenance programs and emergency repairs as needed.
• Follow policies for safe storage and handling of hazardous materials; keep a clean, safe workplace.
• Review building systems (fire alarms, HVAC, plumbing) to ensure operation aligns with design specs.
• Share knowledge with team and model CBRE RISE values; work to build consensus.
