Qualifications

The Building and Facilities Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, functionality, and overall working environment of the facility. They play a vital role in ensuring a safe, clean, and productive space for all occupants.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Facility Maintenance:

• Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs for the building and its systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and landscaping.

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise repair and renovation projects.

• Delegate tasks to the maintenance team for optimal productivity.

• Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment, promptly addressing damages or issues.

• Establish and enforce cleanliness standards and protocols for the facility.

2. Conducive Working Areas:

• Design and maintain workspaces that enhance productivity and well-being for all employees.

• Ensure the facility's layout, lighting, and temperature control contribute to a comfortable and productive work environment.

• Collaborate with relevant departments to address specific needs and preferences of employees.

3. Safety and Security:

• Develop and implement safety protocols, emergency response plans, and security measures to protect the facility and its occupants.

• Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.

• Monitor and maintain security systems, including access control and surveillance.

4. Vendor and Contractor Management:

• Coordinate and schedule with external service providers, contractors, and vendors for maintenance and repair services.

• Evaluate and select service providers, negotiate contracts, and oversee their work.

• Ensure vendor compliance with safety and quality standards.

5. Reporting and Documentation:

• Maintain comprehensive records of job orders, reports, and documentation related to facility operations.

• Provide regular updates to management on the facility's status, ongoing projects, and machinery issues.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Proven experience in facility management or a related role.

• Minimum of 3-4 years of facility management experience required.

• Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance procedures.
