Job summary

In this role you will supervise performance against targets, mentor the branch sales force, and ensure adherence to risk and credit guidelines while delivering excellent customer service and strong bottom-line results.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 5 years of sales and marketing experience in the banking industry.
• Excellent selling and negotiation skills and preferably an active client portfolio in the assigned location.
• Good problem and analytical skills.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Actively seeks new ways of working to improve efficiency and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Area Head in determining market potential and formulating strategies to hit targets.
• Maintains a proactive stance against competition, market conditions, and external factors to maximize strengths and opportunities.
• Manages the branch’s profitability by growing the business, optimizing income, and rationalizing expenditures for a healthy bottom line.
• Establishes strong synergy with partner units/groups to enable cross-sells.
• Monitors and reviews actual performances versus targets using MIS reports and plans actions to close gaps.
• Develops the branch sales force through coaching, mentoring, strategizing, and monitoring to produce and retain top sales talent.
• Identifies and endorses customers for credit accommodations, waivers, and special approvals while adhering to bank guidelines.
