Job summary

Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) is seeking an Assistant Business Manager (ABM) to oversee branch operations across Metro Manila, based in Makati. The role focuses on delivering accurate, timely service aligned with bank objectives, controls, and regulatory standards.

The ABM will lead branch staff, manage end-to-end customer experience, conduct training and performance reviews, and ensure strict compliance with KYC, regulatory reporting, and risk controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in branch banking operations.
• Experience in people management and staff development.

Responsibilities

• Oversees overall branch operations to ensure accurate, timely service across customer segments.
• Approves and reviews branch transactions within authority limits and ensures proper documentation.
• Leads and coaches branch staff; manages training, certifications, and performance reviews.
• Ensures compliance with KYC, regulatory requirements, audit standards, and risk controls.
• Monitors branch facilities, security, housekeeping, and safekeeping of records.
