Job summary

Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) is seeking an Assistant Business Manager (ABM) to oversee branch operations, customer service, and risk management. You will approve transactions within authority limits, ensure KYC and regulatory compliance, and lead branch staff with coaching and performance reviews.

You will also supervise cash handling, reconciliations, facilities, and security, while maintaining strong customer satisfaction and adherence to bank policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business Administration or related fields.
• With 3-5 years of experience in branch banking operations.
• With experience in people management.

Responsibilities

• Approve branch transactions within authority limits and secure approvals for transactions beyond scope.
• Review and approve OTC and auxiliary transactions (deposits, withdrawals, FX, remittances, checkbook requests, etc.).
• Lead and supervise branch personnel; set goals and provide coaching; manage scheduling and training.
• Ensure strong audit ratings and compliance with internal and regulatory requirements; conduct risk assessments.
• Monitors receivables, provisions for losses, and renewal of permits.
• Oversees branch facilities, security, housekeeping, and FFE inventory.
• Manages end-to-end customer experience within the branch and addresses inquiries within TAT.
