Responsibilities

• Monitor and control entry points to ensure only authorized guests enter the venue.

• Respond to security incidents promptly using de-escalation techniques.
• Conduct regular security patrols of entrances, dining floors and restrooms.
• Eject or restrain individuals posing a threat, using force only when necessary.
• Collaborate with management and other security staff to enforce safety protocols.
• Report incidents and maintain accurate documentation for management.
• Protect against theft, vandalism and other illegal activities within the venue.
• Communicate professionally with guests, staff and law enforcement when required.

About the role

Advent Manila Hospitality Group, Inc. is seeking a professional and vigilant Bouncer to join our team in Marikina City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining the safety, security and overall atmosphere of our hospitality venues. As a Bouncer, you will be responsible for protecting our guests and staff, preventing disturbances, and ensuring compliance with venue policies and local regulations. This role is essential to delivering an exceptional and secure experience for everyone who visits our establishments.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and control entry points to ensure only authorized guests are permitted into the venue

• Maintain order and safety throughout the venue by observing patron behaviour and intervening appropriately to prevent conflicts or disturbances

• Respond promptly to security incidents, including confrontations, breaches or emergency situations, using appropriate de‑escalation techniques

• Conduct regular security patrols of the venue, including entrances, exits, dining floors and restroom areas

• Eject or restrain individuals who pose a threat to safety or violate venue policies, using reasonable force only when necessary

• Collaborate with management and other security staff to implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures

• Report all incidents, unusual activities or concerns to management and maintain accurate incident documentation

• Protect against theft, vandalism and other illegal activities within the venue

• Communicate professionally with guests, staff and law enforcement when required

What we’re looking for

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification

• Previous experience as a Bouncer or in a similar security or hospitality role

• Excellent physical fitness and the ability to remain alert for extended periods

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure

• Knowledge of conflict de‑escalation and appropriate use of force techniques

• Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the venue efficiently

• Keen observational skills and attention to detail

• Understanding of local laws and regulations pertaining to hospitality venues and security

• Professional demeanor and the ability to represent the company positively

• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends and public holidays

• Valid security clearance or willingness to obtain one as required

• First aid or CPR certification is advantageous
