The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, relevant security or hospitality experience, strong fitness, and excellent communication skills. Flexibility for evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience as a Bouncer or in a security/hospitality role preferred.
• Excellent physical fitness and ability to stay alert for extended periods.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills under pressure.
• Knowledge of conflict de-escalation and use of force techniques.
• Ability to stand long periods and move around venues efficiently.
• Observational skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Understanding of local laws and security regulations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control entry points to ensure only authorized guests enter the venue.
• Maintain order and safety throughout the venue by observing patron behaviour and intervening as needed.
• Respond to security incidents promptly using de-escalation techniques.
• Conduct regular security patrols of entrances, dining floors and restrooms.
• Eject or restrain individuals posing a threat, using force only when necessary.
• Collaborate with management and other security staff to enforce safety protocols.
• Report incidents and maintain accurate documentation for management.
• Protect against theft, vandalism and other illegal activities within the venue.
• Communicate professionally with guests, staff and law enforcement when required.
