About the role

We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Waiter to join the hospitality team at Superior BT. This is a full-time position based in Malate, Manila City, Metro Manila. As a Waiter, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional service to our guests whilst maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and courtesy. This role is integral to creating memorable dining experiences that keep our customers returning.

What you'll be doing

• Greeting guests warmly upon arrival and seating them in designated areas
• Presenting menus and providing knowledgeable recommendations about food and beverage options
• Taking accurate food and drink orders from guests and communicating them clearly to the kitchen and bar staff
• Delivering food and beverages to tables promptly and ensuring orders are correct
• Checking in with guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and addressing any concerns
• Clearing tables efficiently and resetting them for subsequent guests
• Processing payments and handling cash or card transactions accurately
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of dining areas, tables and service stations
• Following food safety and hygiene protocols at all times
• Collaborating with kitchen, bar and housekeeping staff to ensure smooth service operations

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a Waiter or in a similar dining service role, preferably in a full-service restaurant or hospitality venue
• Excellent customer service skills with a genuine passion for hospitality
• Strong communication abilities and the capacity to work effectively within a team
• Attention to detail and the ability to remember orders accurately
• Professional appearance and demeanour with a positive attitude
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays and items
• Knowledge of basic food and beverage offerings is advantageous
