Pour Kings Enterprises Inc. is seeking an enthusiastic and professional Server to join our hospitality team in Makati City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. As a Server, you will be the face of our establishment, creating memorable moments through attentive service, product knowledge, and genuine hospitality. This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for excellence and ensuring guest satisfaction remains at the forefront of everything we do.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, directing them to their tables and ensuring a comfortable seating arrangement
• Present menus to guests and provide knowledgeable recommendations about food and beverage offerings, taking into account dietary requirements and preferences
• Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests whilst maintaining attention to detail and special requests
• Communicate orders clearly to kitchen and bar staff, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of items
• Serve food and beverages in accordance with established service standards, ensuring plates are presented attractively and at the correct temperature
• Monitor guests throughout their dining experience, anticipating needs and responding promptly to requests
• Process payments accurately, handle cash and card transactions, and provide change or process billing information professionally
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including tables, chairs and service stations
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times
• Collaborate with kitchen, bar and housekeeping staff to ensure seamless service delivery
• Manage multiple tables simultaneously whilst maintaining composure and attention to detail during peak service periods

What we're looking for

• Previous experience working as a server or in a waitstaff position within a restaurant or hospitality establishment
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with diverse clientele
• Excellent organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple tasks and tables simultaneously
• Knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including ingredients, preparation methods and suitable pairings
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods and carry trays safely
• Attention to detail with accuracy in order taking and payment processing
• Positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively within a team environment
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
• Professional appearance and the ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations
• Basic numeracy skills and comfort with point-of-sale systems and technology
• Preferably fluent in English and Filipino, with additional languages being advantageous
