Job summary

Inchcape in Manila seeks a Service Advisor – Body & Paint to act as the primary contact between customers and the Body & Paint workshop. You will coordinate repair requirements, provide accurate estimates, manage customer expectations, and ensure vehicles are restored to the highest standards.

You will welcome customers, explain repair scope, liaise with insurers, and monitor progress to drive timely, high-quality service in a fast-paced workshop.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in automotive-related field recommended.
• Experience in automotive service advising or body shop operations is preferred.
• Ability to explain complex repair information clearly to customers.
• Strong communication and customer relation skills.
• Proficient with dealership management systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assess repair requirements for body & paint work.
• Explain repair scope, timelines, and costs to customers clearly.
• Prepare repair estimates and coordinate insurance/non-insurance claims.
• Open and manage repair orders with accurate customer and vehicle data.
• Liaise with customers, insurance providers, assessors and workshop teams.
• Provide updates on status, schedules, and additional work needs.
• Coordinate parts availability with Parts and Procurement teams.
• Monitor repair quality and perform vehicle inspections before handover.
• Address inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly.
• Ensure proper documentation and billing for repairs.
• Promote additional services and detailing packages when appropriate.
• Support CSI targets, workshop productivity, and revenue goals.
