Job summary

Pax8 is seeking a Technical Billing Operations Manager in the Philippines to lead billing accuracy, automation, and continuous improvement across invoicing processes. You will partner with Product, Engineering, Finance, and Data teams to drive metrics, backlogs, and improvements, delivering reliable billing outcomes for our cloud marketplace.

This role sits at the intersection of tech, finance, and product, offering growth and global exposure.

Qualifications

• Experience with billing, invoicing, financial systems or revenue operations.
• Understanding SaaS billing, subscriptions, payments, taxation, and reconciliation.
• Strong analytical capabilities to investigate operational issues.
• Experience with payment processors, tax engines, and accounting solutions.
• Proficient in SQL and data-driven decision making.
• Experience in Agile product and engineering environments.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and align multiple teams.
• Excellent project management, communication, and organisational skills.
• Curious mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Strong customer and partner empathy for meaningful problems.

Responsibilities

• Drive operational excellence across billing and invoicing processes.
• Define and report operational objectives, service metrics, and improvements.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Finance, Vendor Ops, Sales, Support, and Data teams.
• Champion automation, observability, and proactive issue detection in billing services.
• Translate insights into data-driven enhancements and product recommendations.
• Maintain a prioritised backlog of improvements and defects.
• Lead escalation and forensic analysis to ensure rapid resolution.
• Facilitate cross-functional workshops and solution discovery sessions.
• Communicate performance trends, risks, and roadmap progress to stakeholders.
• Guide trade-off decisions to maximise value for customers and partners.
