Pax8 is hiring a Full Stack Engineer 2 in Makati, Philippines to help shape the future of billing intelligence, automation, and observability within a global cloud marketplace. The role operates on a permanent night shift (10pm - 6am) and sits at the intersection of Engineering, Product, Finance, and Operations.

You will design scalable systems, build internal tools, dashboards, and automation to improve billing accuracy and operational resilience.

Qualifications

• Experience building modern full‑stack applications with strong backend emphasis.
• Proficient in Python and SQL for application development and data processing.
• Experience with large, complex datasets requiring high accuracy and reliability.
• Knowledge of cloud-native technologies, containerisation, and deployment practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop intelligent observability platforms to monitor billing performance and health, with dashboards and alerts.
• Automate critical processes to reduce manual effort and improve accuracy across large-scale billing ops.
• Build end-to-end scalable full‑stack apps, APIs, services, and data workflows with modern practices.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Finance, Support and Operations to solve business challenges.
• Mentor teammates and contribute to architectural discussions; drive continuous improvement.
