Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Mortgage Processor II to guide clients through HELOC and refinance loan processes from conditional approval to final underwriting approval.

You will communicate conditions, collect documentation, and maintain accurate records to enable a smooth end-to-end experience. You will collaborate with home lending advisors, underwriting, and closing teams, resolving issues and escalating concerns when needed.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Spanish and English with excellent verbal and written communication.
• Experience in mortgage processing and loan lifecycle management.
• Strong customer service skills with ability to explain steps clearly over the phone or email.
• Proven ability to gather, review, and track required documentation with accuracy.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and adherence to data privacy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Guide customers through the loan process from conditional approval through final underwriting approval.
• Provide updates and set expectations at key milestones.
• Review loan conditions and request outstanding documentation for timely underwriting decisions.
• Explain loan terms, programs, and fees clearly to customers.
• Update loan status and contact logs in the processing system and maintain accuracy.
