Job summary

East West Banking Corporation in Pagadian City is seeking a Service Manager to lead store operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive outstanding customer service. The role oversees teller- and non-teller activities, AMLC reporting, KYC upkeep, and profitability goals.

Ideal candidates hold a business or accounting degree with 5+ years of supervisory experience in branch operations, preferably from another bank. Onsite role with a strong emphasis on accuracy and teamwork.

Qualifications

• College graduate in Business or Accounting-related field.
• At least five years of supervisory experience in branch operations.
• Preferably Assistant Managers from another bank with similar experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to regulatory and AMLC requirements, including opening new accounts, monitoring and reporting transactions, maintaining KYC records, updating customer information, issuing manager's checks, and managing remittances.
• Oversee and approve a variety of over-the-counter transactions beyond teller authority, ensure compliance with policies, manage time deposit placements, and strive for excellent customer experiences with efficient processing and error management.
• Ensure prompt acknowledgment, logging, reporting, and resolution of complaints, and verify the complaint tracking register is complete with all necessary information.
• Record daily store transactions based on Teller totals and documents, manage temporary accounts timely, and reconcile General Ledger balances with subsidiary ledgers.
• Assist in achieving Store's profitability target.
