Job summary

VA Masters is seeking a confident Cold Caller & Appointment Setter to drive outbound sales for our structured cabling and low voltage services. You will engage facilities managers, IT directors, and procurement contacts, handle rejection, and keep meticulous call-and-follow-up records.

You will research prospects, build clean lists, and perform high-volume outbound calls to B2B targets in education and commercial sectors.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in B2B cold calling, telemarketing, or outbound sales.
• Demonstrated success setting appointments for a sales team or closer.
• Excellent spoken English with a clear, neutral, professional phone presence.
• Confidence handling gatekeepers, objections, and rejection without losing momentum.
• Strong online research skills for sourcing and verifying business contact information.
• Experience maintaining lead lists, call logs, and CRM records with high accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Research and compile prospect contact information from directories, vendor networks, bid websites, and other public sources.
• Build and maintain clean, accurate call lists with verified names, titles, phone numbers, and email addresses.
• Conduct high-volume outbound cold calls to B2B prospects in education, commercial, and institutional sectors.
• Qualify leads by identifying decision-makers, timelines, budget authority, and upcoming cabling or low voltage needs.
• Book qualified appointments and discovery meetings for the sales team.
• Log all call activity, outcomes, and notes in the CRM or tracking system.
