Job summary

SECOND SKIN INDUSTRIES, INC. is seeking a Service Advisor to greet customers, assess vehicle service needs, and translate concerns into clear service requirements for the technical team.

You will document conditions, prepare quotes, explain services, and secure approvals before work starts. The role requires strong communication, sales skills and experience with CRM systems, with weekend availability as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher preferred in Automotive Technology, Business Admin, Marketing or related field.
• 1–2 years in a Service Advisor or similar automotive customer-facing role.
• Experience in automotive detailing, PPF, ceramic coating, tint, repair or dealership operations is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of basic automotive services and vehicle components.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong sales and negotiation skills.
• Ability to explain technical information simply.
• Proficient in organization and coordination, CRM usage.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and assess their vehicle service needs professionally.
• Document vehicle conditions and customer concerns via walk-around inspections.
• Translate concerns into clear service requirements for technical team.
• Recommend services based on condition and customer needs.
• Prepare job orders, estimates, quotations and invoices.
• Explain services, scope, pricing, turnaround times to customers.
• Secure approvals before additional work.
• Coordinate with technicians, detailers, and workshop staff.
• Monitor progress and provide updates to customers.
• Manage expectations and escalate delays or issues.
• Conduct quality checks before vehicle release.
• Explain completed services and maintenance needs on release.
• Handle inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
• Maintain accurate customer and vehicle records in CRM.
• Follow up on quotes and future maintenance.
