Job summary

Michael Page is recruiting for a Technical Sales Support / Applications Engineer role based in Santo Tomas, Batangas. You will translate technical concepts into customer-focused solutions, support distributors, and help drive revenue growth across global industrial sectors.

The ideal candidate has a mechanical or manufacturing engineering background with strong communication skills, CRM experience, and the ability to manage quotations and orders in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Manufacturing, or related Engineering.
• Experience in technical sales, applications engineering, sales support, customer service, or order management within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong customer-facing communication skills.
• Experience managing quotations, customer enquiries, and order processing activities.
• Proven ability to build productive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts and be based in Santo Tomas, Batangas.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical sales support to customers, distributors, and business development teams.
• Review customer requirements and collaborate with engineering teams to recommend suitable solutions.
• Prepare quotations, conduct quote follow-up activities, and maintain accurate CRM records.
• Support the order management process from enquiry through delivery, ensuring timely communication and coordination.
• Act as a product and application expert, translating technical information into customer-focused solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and channel partners.
• Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and order status updates professionally and efficiently.
• Assist with sales forecasting, reporting, and annual order planning activities.
• Support distributor agreements, documentation, and customer account administration.
• Participate in trade shows, conferences, and business development initiatives.
• Contribute to product improvement initiatives and knowledge documentation.

The Successful Applicant

• Experience in technical sales, applications engineering, sales support, customer service, or order management within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong customer-facing communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience managing quotations, customer enquiries, and order processing activities.
• Proven ability to build productive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Good-to-Haves

• 5+ years of sales support, applications engineering, or customer service experience in manufacturing.
• Experience within power generation, gas turbines, energy, semiconductor, aerospace, industrial heating, furnace, or process industries.
• Knowledge of sensors, instrumentation, thermal products, industrial components, or engineered industrial solutions.
• Experience supporting distributors and channel partners.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and order management platforms.
• Track record of supporting revenue growth and commercial objectives.
