We are seeking a proactive Sales Officer to oversee day-to-day field operations, drive team performance, and support strategic growth initiatives for the Sales team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between sales strategy and on-ground execution. You will work closely with the Sales Manager, leading field monitoring, mentoring sales representatives, and ensuring seamless daily business operations.
Lead daily monitoring of sales staff, including attendance, call plans, customer visits, and on-ground troubleshooting.
Directly mentor and coach sales representatives in the field, reinforcing quality standards and closing performance gaps in real-time.
Ensure proactive problem-solving to maintain consistent field execution and maximize sales opportunities.
Partner with the Sales Manager to support account expansion, drive territory growth, and ensure continuous operational coverage.
Track daily sales metrics, route planning, and call cycles to identify gaps and report actionable insights.
Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
3-5 years of total sales experience, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
Background in field sales operations within FMCG, distribution, or similar industries is preferred.
Proven leadership and coaching ability - skilled at motivating teams.
Strong grasp of field sales processes (route planning, call cycles, target setting, and performance tracking).
Very good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Willingness and ability to undertake regular field travel across the assigned territory.
Proficiency in MS Excel, sales tracking systems, and platforms (e.g., AIMS).
Valid driver's license.
