Job summary

Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) seeks a qualified candidate for roles at the QUEZON NATIONAL AGRICULTURAL SCHOOL (QNAS). The incumbent will conduct research, deliver instruction, monitor trainee progress, and provide technical services to TVIs and partners.

The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree, 1 year of relevant experience, 4 hours of training, NC II, and eligibility such as Career Service Professional for 2nd level positions.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates advanced skills and extensive experience in research and training.
• Conducts independent researches and studies.
• Delivers instruction and facilitates training sessions.
• Monitors and evaluates programs and services including trainees’ progress.
• Provides technical and instructional services to TVIs and partners.
• Develops procedures to address TVET/industry needs (e.g. curriculum, tools).
• Establishes linkages with government and NGOs and participates in community extension programs.
• Performs other related functions as may be authorized.

THE HIREE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING:

• ? (30%) Demonstrates advanced skills and extensive experience in research. Consistently applies technical skills and adopts emerging technologies;
• Conducts independent researches and studies
• ? (25%) Demonstrates advance skills and extensive experience in facilitating training sessions. Consistently applies technical skills and adopts emerging technologies;
• Delivers instruction
• Facilitates monitoring and evaluation of programs/projects and services including trainees’ progress and development
• Provides technical and instructional services to TVIs and partners
• Engages in productivity measures.
• ? (25%) Demonstrates advance skills and extensive experience in building and maintaining internal and external relationships. Consistently applies technical skills and adopts emerging technologies;
• Participates ion community extension programs and other civic activities
• Develops procedures and techniques in addressing TVET/industry needs (e.g. curriculum, tools, etc.)
• Establishes close linkages with government and NGOs
• Conduction extension work?
• ? (15%) Provides inputs to operational plan of the school; and
• ? (5%) Perform other related functions as maybe authorized.
