Secret Paradise Resort in Palawan is looking for an Assistant Operations Manager to help the Operations Manager oversee daily resort operations, ensuring guest satisfaction and compliance with policies.

You will coordinate with department heads, monitor expenses and performance, and manage reservations via Cloudbeds PMS, while driving occupancy and revenue growth. Flexibility for weekends/holidays is required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Three to five years of hotel or resort operations experience, including supervisory or assistant management exposure.
• Proficiency in Cloudbeds PMS and OTA platforms, including reservation and inventory management.
• Knowledge of revenue management, labour cost control, manpower planning, and operational budgeting.
• Strong leadership, communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of Front Office, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage, and basic financial controls.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, spreadsheets, and operational reporting.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.

Aufgaben

• Oversee daily resort operations and coordinate with department heads to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Monitor facilities and presentation, identify issues and implement corrective actions.
• Supervise department supervisors and front-line staff, promoting teamwork and accountability.
• Assist with manpower planning, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure excellent guest service and handle complaints professionally.
• Monitor guest feedback and implement service improvements to boost satisfaction.
• Track operating expenses, labour costs, inventory, budgets, cash handling, and compliance.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly operational reports for management.
• Manage reservations, room inventory, and availability through Cloudbeds PMS.
• Coordinate with Reservations and Sales teams and manage OTA platforms (Booking.com, Agoda, Expedia).
• Monitor occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, room revenue, and OTA commissions.
• Support promotional activities to maximise occupancy and revenue.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and environmental standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and facilities.
• Assist with emergency preparedness and incident reporting.
