Job summary

Global Expat Recruiting is assisting a 5-star boutique resort in the Philippines in its pre-opening phase. The role reports to the General Manager and will oversee front office operations including Front Desk, Transportation, Guest Relations, and Leisure activities, guiding a team to deliver a memorable guest experience.

We are seeking Filipino nationals who are guest-focused, highly communicative, and capable of handling difficult situations.

Qualifications

• Experience in 5-star luxury hotels or resorts.
• Excellent English both spoken and written.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Guest-focused and engaging with guests.
• Excellent communication and complaint handling.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Pre-opening experience is a plus.
• Filipino national availability only.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day Front Office operations (Front Desk, Transportation, Guest Relations and Services, Leisure activities).
• Lead and mentor a team of staff to deliver memorable guest experiences.
• Report to the General Manager and manage guest relations in a high-end environment.

Job description

Our client is a 5* boutique resort with less than 100 units and multiple F&B outlets on an idyllic beach on a tropical island in Philippines.

The Resort is still in pre-opening phase.

Note that this resort is located in a magnificent, but remote location.

This role will be reporting directly to General Manager.

You will be heavily involved with the pre-opening activities and oversee the day to day operations of FO Department including Front Desk, Transportation, Guest Relations and Services, as well as Leisure activities, and lead and mentor a team of passionate staff who will deliver a truly memorable experience for their guests.

Please note that this position is available for Filipino Nationals only.

• Experience in 5-star luxury hotels or resorts
• International experience is a plus
• Pre-opening experience a plus
• Experience in the same or similar position
