Job summary

TRP, INC. is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager in Laguna, Philippines to direct daily maintenance operations for production equipment.

You will oversee supervisors and technicians, manage CMMS-based preventive maintenance, and lead installation/upgrade projects to ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery. The role requires a strong background in mechanical, electrical, and PLC systems, plus 10+ years in maintenance with 2–3 years in a supervisory capacity.

Qualifications

• Ten years of maintenance experience in production equipment with 2–3 years in supervision.
• Knowledge in PLC, mechanical and electrical works; able to read blueprints/schematics.
• Proficient in budgeting, planning, negotiation, and problem solving; fluent in English and Filipino.

Responsibilities

• Directs and supervises daily activities of supervisors and technicians with clear task allocation, priority alignment, and adherence to safety/quality standards.
• Oversees CMMS-based preventive maintenance program with 100% compliance to schedules.
• Leads small- to medium-scale installation and upgrade projects with timelines, manpower/material coordination, and contractor management.
• Plans and supervises routine inspections to identify potential failures; implements corrective/predictive actions to minimize downtime.
• Monitors spare parts inventory, analyzes usage trends and equipment criticality to optimize stock and cost.
• Leads rapid response during critical breakdowns; performs root cause analysis and implements corrective actions.
• Analyzes maintenance KPIs, PM compliance, downtime, and backlog; prepares performance reports with trends/risks.
• Supports corporate quality, productivity, Kaizen, 5S, and safety/environment initiatives.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job description

• Directs and supervises the daily activities of supervisors and technicians, ensuring clear task allocation, priority alignment,and adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Oversees the preventive maintenance program within the CMMS, ensuring 100% compliance with scheduled servicing requirements.
• Leads small- to medium-scale installation and upgrade projects from initial planning through execution and completion. Develops project timelines, coordinates manpower and material requirements, manages contractors when applicable, and ensures projects are standards, delivered on time, within scope, and according to safety and quality
• Plans and supervises routine inspections and servicing activities to proactively identify potential failures. Implementscorrective and predictive actions to minimize unplanned downtime.
• Monitors spare parts inventory levels to ensure availability of critical components. Analyzes usage trends and equipment criticality to optimize stock levels while controlling costs.
• Leads rapid response efforts during critical equipment breakdowns, ensuring swift troubleshooting, root cause analysis,and corrective action implementation.
• Analyzes maintenance KPIs, PM compliance, downtime percentage, and backlog levels. Prepares detailed performance reports for management review, highlighting trends, risks, and improvement opportunities. Recommends data-drivenstrategies to enhance operational efficiency and maintenance effectiveness.
• Participate and supports in all corporate quality, productivity, continuous improvement (Kaizen), 5'S, Occupational Safety and Health Environment.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities which may be assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.

Education & Years of related experience:

• College graduate of any 5 year Engineering course or its equivalent years of experience;
• Knowledgeable in MS Applications (MSWord, Excel & Powerpoint);

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• With at least ten (10) year working related experience in Maintenance of Production Equipment and; And at least 2-3 years in supervisory role.
• Knowledge in Mechanical,Electrical Design, and Computerized Maintenance Management System; Knowledge in reading blue prints, schematics, and technical manuals;
• Knowledge in PLC, Mechanical, and Electrical works;
• Knowledge in Budget Planning; Skills: Counseling,Mentoring, Planning,Negotiation, Problem Solving analysis, Numerical and good communication skills both English and Filipino;
• Ability to prepare and analyze reports (including graph).
• Ability to perform root cause analysis to identify why a machine failed and prevent reoccurrences.
