Job summary

Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. in Hinoba-an, Philippines is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to manage CNC machine maintenance, utilities, and material handling systems to maximize uptime and quality. You will troubleshoot Fanuc CNC systems and perform precise calibration and alignment with CMMS support.

The role requires 3–9 years of experience and a Diploma (3 years full time). You will ensure electrical safety, TPM practices, and continuous improvement across the plant environment.

Qualifications

• Must have diploma (3 years full-time) and hands-on experience with CNC machining centres, turning machines, and die manufacturing equipment.
• Strong knowledge of Fanuc CNC controllers, servo/spindle diagnostics, and precision calibration.
• Experience with CMMS and software-based maintenance operations.
• Familiarity with electrical systems, safety standards, and TPM/Kaizen practices.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage maintenance of CNC machines, die shop equipment, utilities, and material handling systems to maximize uptime and quality.
• Lead complex troubleshooting of Fanuc CNC systems, servo drives, spindles, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical/control issues.
• Perform CNC calibration, alignment, and accuracy improvement activities.
• Execute preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance for machines and utilities.
• Ensure safe operation of plant electrical infrastructure including panels, MCCs, and power distribution networks.
• Maintain PM checklists, logs, and breakdown history in CMMS.
• Support TPM, Kaizen, energy optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

• Independently manage maintenance of critical CNC machines, die shop equipment, utilities, and material handling systems to ensure maximum uptime and quality.
• Lead complex troubleshooting of Fanuc CNC systems, servo drives, spindles, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical/control issues.
• Perform and oversee precision CNC machine calibration, alignment, and accuracy improvement activities.
• Execute preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance for machines as well as utilities.
• Ensure reliable operation of plant electrical infrastructure, including BT/LT panels, MCCs, control panels, and power distribution networks.
• Carry out periodic inspections, PM checklists, thermography (where applicable), and safety checks on electrical panels.
• Maintain CNC parameters, backups, utility logs, PM records, and breakdown history in software-based maintenance systems.
• Ensure safety, statutory, and compliance requirements for electrical systems, EOT cranes, and lifting equipment.
• Participate actively in TPM, Kaizen, energy optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Technical / Functional

• Extensive hands-on experience in CNC machining centres, turning machines, and die manufacturing equipment
• Advanced working knowledge of Fanuc CNC controllers , servo/spindle diagnostics, and tuning
• Practical expertise in CNC calibration and alignment
• Maintenance of EOT cranes, conveyors, drives, motors, sensors, and safety circuits
• Strong exposure to utilities and electrical systems :
• MCCs, VFDs, protection devices, earthing systems
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and control drawings
• Experience with CMMS and software-based maintenance operations
• Understanding of automotive safety, quality, and compliance standards
• Understanding and configuration knowledge of industrial communication protocol like CC-link, CC-link IE, Device net, Ethernet and Ethernet IP.
• Basic know how of Robot Control Circuits, Signal IO interfacing and trouble shooting
• Strong hands-on technical expertise
• Advanced fault diagnosis and RCA skills
• Ability to work independently on high‑impact issues
