Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering (licensed preferred).
• 8+ years in food/beverage industry with 3+ years in a managerial role.
• Extensive exposure to beverage manufacturing operations and maintenance systems.
• Licensed engineer preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, leads, and controls the maintenance department to ensure equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Implements and sustains preventive maintenance systems, using CMMS.
• Schedules, monitors, and supervises preventive maintenance for all plant machines and facilities.
• Generates CMMS diagnostics and daily production logs to review downtime and drive corrective actions.
• Reviews and approves maintenance material requests and evaluates maintenance contracts.

Job description

WHAT YOU WILL DO

This position is responsible for planning, organizing, leading, and controlling the maintenance department so that the manufacturing equipment and facilities are in good operating condition, high level of reliability and efficiency, attaining its safe and productive technical life by implementing appropriate maintenance systems and programs to produce quality products at the right quantity and time at optimum cost.

• Organizes and manages the implementation of repair works and preventive maintenance programs for all machines, equipment, and facilities. Maximize utilization of assigned resources needed by the plant.
• Implements, sustains, and improves an effective preventive maintenance system in the plant using Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Executes immediate repair works of defective machines, equipment, and facilities that can affect product availability, quality, and safety.
• Plans, schedules, monitors, and supervises the implementation of Preventive Maintenance activities for all plant machines, equipment & facilities.
• Generates all CMMS related diagnostics tools and daily production logs to review the machine downtime and formulate corrective and preventive measures and prevent major breakdown to happen.
• Makes and/or reviews purchase requests for all maintenance works.
• Reviews and evaluates all maintenance contract services rendered.
• Approves all material/item requests related to maintenance works from the materials section.
• Assists purchasing whenever required in pre-bid discussion and evaluation of submitted quotes for a particular maintenance work or supply of parts and services.
• Supervises the operation of assigned equipment or machines that are support to bottling run.
• Manages the attainment of Maintenance shared Key Performance Indicators such as Bunker Fuel Oil, Electricity and Water Yields.
• Works in coordination with Production, Process, QA in the implementation of maintenance programs.
• Plans and submits maintenance annual operating budget, capital appropriation request, and direct materials requirements.
• Plans, monitors, and controls maintenance operational expenses to be within budget.
• Plans, monitors, and controls capital appropriation expense budget to be within the plan.
• Submits monthly spending variance analysis both for operational expense and capital expenditures.
• Plans, establishes, and manages the attainment of minimum inventory level of spare parts
• Implements standardization and quality acceptance test to all material and spare parts delivery.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• College Graduate: Mechanical or Electrical or Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering, preferably licensed engineer.
• At least eight (8) years of solid or combined work experience in the food and beverage industry, three (3) years of which in a managerial role.
• Extensive exposure in beverage manufacturing operations and maintenance systems

• Work schedule: Monday - Saturday
