BTSMC Managing Solutions, Inc. is urgently looking for Asset Management Operations Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) Lead (3-mos. contract) to be assigned in Pagbilao, Quezon province.
Bachelor's degree Holder in Engineering
Preferably licensed engineer
Minimum 8 years of experience in the Power or Oil & Gas Industry
Computer literate, preferably with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google for documentation and reporting.
Experience: Strong background in document control, clerical auditing, or technical administration within a heavy industry or power plant setting.
Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strict data organization, expert proficiency in document management systems, and a process-oriented mindset.
The Asset Management Operations SOP Lead serves as the critical tracking and administrative anchor for the plant’s operational processes. This role focuses on the strict documentation, clerical tracking, and systematic auditing of SOP usage by on-site teams.
A primary strategic objective for this position is managing the administrative transition, updating, and formatting of all current plant procedures into the AP TBG operational framework.
1. Clerical Monitoring & Compliance Tracking
Track daily logs across Core Operations, Maintenance, and SHE to verify that teams fill out required SOP checklists.
Maintain the SOP Master Registry, ensuring all control rooms and field offices have the latest validated versions.
Audit paperwork trails for high-risk processes, including Permit to Work (PTW), LOTO clearances, and incident reports.
Log process deviations and non-compliance events found during site inspections into a tracking database.
Compile weekly compliance reports detailing which departments are following or bypassing standard procedures.
2. Documentation Migration & AP TBG Alignment
Review current SOPs across all 6 operational categories to identify gaps against the AP TBG framework.
Rewrite and reformat existing technical workflows into the standardized AP TBG templates.
Coordinate with technical heads (Boiler, Turbine, Electrical, Safety) to validate updated AP TBG documents.
Manage version control meticulously, archiving legacy documents while rolling out new AP TBG guidelines.
Track the progress matrix of the entire document migration timeline to ensure zero downtime during the transition.
3. Administrative Support & Audit Readiness
Organize documentation packages to ensure the plant remains fully audit-ready for DOE, ERC, and environmental regulators.
Administer the Management of Change (MOC) log, ensuring all technical updates trigger corresponding SOP revisions.
Maintain the contractor compliance archive, verifying that external crews sign off on plant policies before site entry.
