BTSMC Managing Solutions, Inc. is seeking a BOM Analyst/Materials Coordinator to transform raw engineering data into an optimized spares warehouse for 31,000+ assets in Pagbilao, Quezon. The role uses IBM Maximo CMMS to manage BOMs and material master data.

The candidate will drive data quality, mapping, and cataloging standards, collaborating with SCM to ensure accurate spares alignment and efficient inventory management in a heavy industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Preferably certified/trained in Data Analytics (Macro, PowerBI, SQL).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Power Generation, Heavy Industrial Manufacturing or Oil & Gas as BOM/Material Master Analyst.
• Minimum 5 years in asset management, reliability engineering, or materials management.
• CMMS: Advanced proficiency in IBM Maximo/SAP or equivalent asset management modules.
• Engineering Data: Read and interpret P&IDs, engineering drawings, and OEM manuals.
• Data Analytics: Proficient in data manipulation and master data cleanup.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google for documentation/reporting.

Responsibilities

• Interim Critical Spares Management: establish sign-offs and evaluate spares lists for data quality.
• Collaborate with SCM to cross-reference spares with Maximo records.
• Segment unenrolled spares and route enrolled spares for assessment.
• Rank critical spares across Mechanical, Electrical, and C&I disciplines.
• Secure approvals for finalized critical spares output and hand over packages to IWM.
• Spares Strategy & Cataloging Standards: align stocking with ECA matrix; enforce standardized cataloging; define policies for rotable/non-rotable components.
• BOM Development & Asset Mapping: extract part numbers, map to 31K+ assets, link parts to PM tasks in Maintenance Basis.
• Inventory Optimization: calculate Min/Max stock levels, populate CMMS master data, compile vendor lists, migrate data to Supply Chain.

General Description:

The BOM Analyst will lead Project Yugto to transform raw engineering data into an optimized spares warehouse. This role manages data for 31K+ physical assets across three operational units using IBM Maximo CMMS that needs to have bill of materials (BOM).

Duties & Responsibilities:

Interim Critical Spares Management

• Establish and secure sign-offs for interim critical spares criteria from O&M disciplines.
• Evaluate maintenance spares lists for data quality, completeness, and accuracy.
• Collaborate with SCM to cross-reference spares with existing Maximo records.
• Segment unenrolled spares for cataloging and route enrolled spares for assessment.
• Facilitate focus group discussions to rank critical spares across all engineering disciplines: Mechanical (Boiler, GS, Turbine, BOP, Coal Handling), Electrical, Control & Instrumentation (C&I)
• Consolidate, review, and secure approvals for the finalized critical spares output.
• Hand over endorsed packages to Inventory & Warehouse Management (IWM) for costing and Maximo enrollment.

Spares Strategy & Cataloging Standards

• Align spare parts stocking with the Equipment Criticality Analysis (ECA) matrix.
• Prioritize safety-critical asset spares to ensure zero-latency availability.
• Enforce standardized cataloging naming conventions to eliminate duplicate purchasing.
• Define corporate stocking policies for rotable, non-rotable, and refurbishable components.

BOM Development & Asset Mapping

• Extract part numbers, materials, and vendor data from P&IDs and technical manuals.
• Map specific spare parts to over 31,000 physical tags in the Asset Register.
• Link parts directly to PM tasks within the Maintenance Basis to automate CMMS work orders.

Inventory Optimization

• Calculate Min/Max stock levels using failure probabilities, lead times, and operating envelopes.
• Populate CMMS material master's with we*ghts, descriptions, and climate storage needs.
• Compile and verify the master vendor list across all three generation units and common facilities.
• Migrate final BOM and catalog data to the permanent Supply Chain Management team.
