BTSMC Managing Solutions, Inc. is urgently looking for MATERIALS ENGINEER to be assigned to Tabangao, Batangas.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Engineering or equivalent; licensed preferred
• With at least 3 years of construction experience in Project Management, Design, Consultancy, Implementing Contractor.
• Experience in construction in Oil and Gas industries or alike.
• Preferably having training and certificates but not limited to the following:
  • With BNDT Training
  • Skilled in materials specifications (DEP)
  • Knowledge in refinery maintenance inspection
  • Basic Knowledge in API & ASME Code

Job Summary:

The Project Engineer/ Materials Engineer for BTSMC's Projects that is responsible for supervising and managing the materials-related parts of engineering projects. This function is often responsible for ensuring that materials used in projects satisfy quality standards, are sourced successfully, and are utilized efficiently.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensures submission and monitor various site Project's report.
• Prepares, updates, monitors, and uploads all client's regional Key Performance Indicator (KPls) in coordination with BTSMC Construction Lead (CL) /Construction Supervisor (CS).
• Ensures that Regional Key Performance Indicator (KPIs) submission plans/targets are met.
• End-to-end monitoring and control of materials from Bill of Materials/ Bill of Quantities (BM/BQ) to management of materials at site.
• To plan and forecast material needs for various programs and platforms to ensure availability and effective allocation of inventory and materials. This includes:
  • Weekly discussion, coordination/ support between Project Implementation Team, Client Project Management Team, Operation/ spare parts strategy.
  • Regular track of Spares Inventory.
  • Communicates with other Client Terminal Focal for availability of Spares depending on Requirements.
• Responsible for incoming and outgoing of materials. This includes:
  • Visibility on incoming materials, support assist in receiving and shipping of materials/spares
  • Weekly update together project Implementation Team, Operations, of incoming and outgoing of materials.
  • Maintain tracker in excel file for monitoring.
• Create a storage system for inventory Which orderly and accessible and includes identifies information, which can be linked directly to Project Asset List.
• Develop Materials Management Plan from logistic/delivery to hauling/transport to size prior to installation.
• Manage inventory control using various industry software programs. running daily shipping and receiving report. This also includes setting up Of physical spare parts in designated areas,
  • Proper label and tagging Of spares.
  • Spare location identification.
• Proper endorsement to Terminal Operations on established spare parts. Alignment With Document Controller on Vendor Print Management and Endorsement of Maintenance Inspection/ Maintenance Plan (MI/MP).
• Review vendor pricing on a consistent basis to ensure the company is receiving the best available pricing for each item.
• Create and maintain inventory, product cost and logistics data records that are easily accessible and proper coordination with the SHIFT Warehouse personnel.
• Ensure that delivered items match purchase order documentation.
• Prepare detailed lists of items or goods that need purchasing or repairing.
• Escalating concerns on critical path items to the CL and eventually to the CMIPM.
• Initiate and conduct quality inspection together with QAQC or SME & document verification upon delivery of goods. This includes:
  • Visual inspection and preservation of spares (correct room temp. maintenance etc.).
  • Proper storage and location.
  • In-charge of securing the goods in safety manner by means of providing protected packaging prior shipment.
• Ensure on time delivery of materials on site and have proper coordination of transfer of spares to terminals.
• Performs other duties that may be assigned by the Immediate Superior/ Management from time to time.
• Ability to understand and anticipate customer requirements; Ability to balance the interest of the customers and company that will result on Stakeholder's satisfaction.
