Job summary

BTSMC Managing Solutions, Inc. is urgently seeking 2 BOM Analysts to be assigned in Pagbilao, Quezon Province.

The role will transform raw engineering data into an optimized spare parts dataset across three generation units using IBM Maximo CMMS. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 5+ years in BOM/Material Master roles within power generation or heavy industrial settings, plus strong data analytics and reporting skills (Power BI, SQL).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Certifications or training in Data Analytics (Macro, PowerBI, SQL).
• Minimum 5 years of BOM/Material Master experience in Power Generation, Heavy Industrial Manufacturing, or Oil & Gas.
• Minimum 5 years in asset management, reliability engineering, or materials management.
• CMMS: Advanced proficiency in IBM Maximo/SAP or equivalent asset management modules.
• Engineering Data: Read and interpret P&IDs, engineering drawings, and OEM manuals.
• Data Analytics: Strong data manipulation and master data cleanup.
• MS Office and Google for documentation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Establish and secure sign-offs for interim critical spares criteria from O&M disciplines.
• Evaluate maintenance spares lists for data quality, completeness, and accuracy.
• Collaborate with SCM to cross-reference spares with existing Maximo records.
• Segment unenrolled spares for cataloging and route enrolled spares for assessment.
• Facilitate focus group discussions to rank critical spares across all engineering disciplines: Mechanical, Electrical, C&I.
• Consolidate, review, and secure approvals for the finalized critical spares output.
• Hand over endorsed packages to Inventory & Warehouse Management for costing and Maximo enrollment.
• Align spare parts stocking with the Equipment Criticality Analysis matrix.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the Power Generation, Heavy Industrial Manufacturing or Oil & Gas Industry as BOM/Material Master Analyst is required.
• Minimum 5 years in asset management, reliability engineering, or materials management.

General Description:

The BOM Analyst will lead Project Yugto to transform raw engineering data into an optimized spares warehouse. This role manages data for 31K+ physical assets across three operational units using IBM Maximo CMMS that needs to have bill of materials (BOM).

Duties & Responsibilities:

Interim Critical Spares Management

• Establish and secure sign-offs for interim critical spares criteria from O&M disciplines.
• Evaluate maintenance spares lists for data quality, completeness, and accuracy.
• Collaborate with SCM to cross-reference spares with existing Maximo records.
• Segment unenrolled spares for cataloging and route enrolled spares for assessment.
• Facilitate focus group discussions to rank critical spares across all engineering disciplines: Mechanical (Boiler, GS, Turbine, BOP, Coal Handling), Electrical, Control & Instrumentation (C&I)
• Consolidate, review, and secure approvals for the finalized critical spares output.
• Hand over endorsed packages to Inventory & Warehouse Management (IWM) for costing and Maximo enrollment.
• Align spare parts stocking with the Equipment Criticality Analysis (ECA) matrix.
• Prioritize safety-critical asset spares to ensure zero-latency availability.
• Enforce standardized cataloging naming conventions to eliminate duplicate purchasing.
• Define corporate stocking policies for rotable, non-rotable, and refurbishable components.

BOM Development & Asset Mapping

• Extract part numbers, materials, and vendor data from P&IDs and technical manuals.
• Map specific spare parts to over 31,000 physical tags in the Asset Register.
• Link parts directly to PM tasks within the Maintenance Basis to automate CMMS work orders.
• Calculate Min/Max stock levels using failure probabilities, lead times, and operating envelopes.
• Populate CMMS material masters with weights, descriptions, and climate storage needs.
• Compile and verify the master vendor list across all three generation units and common facilities.
• Migrate final BOM and catalog data to the permanent Supply Chain Management team.
