Job summary

ZEISS Philippines is seeking a dynamic sales and business development professional to promote refractive devices, provide training, and support customers in the Manila area. You will conduct product demos, presentations, and in-services for refractive procedures, and work to convert competitors’ users while developing new refractive surgeons.

You will identify KOLs, plan educational workshops, and help achieve the annual refractive budget, collaborating with surgeons and OT teams to grow SMILE

Qualifications

• University degree in Optometry, Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of sales / business development and marketing in the medical device consumables industry.
• Experience in ophthalmology and refractive is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills; good command of written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with product information, training and application support for refractive devices.

• Create new business by converting competitors’ users and developing new refractive surgeons.
• Support new surgeons in the OT and build confidence of SMILE procedure.

• Develop an effective action plan to achieve the annual refractive budget.

Education / Professional Certification University degree in Optometry, Business Administration, Marketing or any related field Experience Minimum 4 years of experience in sales / business development and marketing in the medical device consumables industry Demonstrated experience in ophthalmology especially in the refractive is highly preferred Demonstrated strong understanding and solid sales experience. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Knowledge / Skills / Other characteristics Excellent communication and negotiation skills Excellent team player as well as able to work independently High customer orientation Good command of written and spoken English
