Job summary

UnionBank is seeking a Remedial Collection Agency Manager to oversee accreditation, performance and compliance of third-party collection agencies at UB Plaza, 25F Pasig, the Bank's headquarters. The role drives recovery strategies, monitors agency performance, and ensures adherence to regulatory standards to maximize collection effectiveness.

You will coordinate with external partners and internal stakeholders to optimize endorsed portfolios, implement action plans, and ensure accurate billing

Qualifications

• Strong background in collections, remedial management, account recovery or portfolio management.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and negotiation abilities.
• Experience managing third-party vendors or collection agencies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accreditation, renewal and performance evaluation of third-party collection agencies.
• Endorsement, resolution and pull-out of accounts with regulatory compliance.
• Develop and implement collection strategies and recovery plans to optimize portfolio performance.
• Monitor agency performance through reviews, audits and reporting; ensure BSP policies.
• Collaborate with agency partners and internal teams to resolve issues and ensure accurate reporting.
