Job summary

UnionBank is seeking a Remedial Collection Agency Manager to oversee accreditation, performance and compliance of third-party collection agencies at UB Plaza, 25F Pasig, the Bank's headquarters. The role drives recovery strategies, monitors agency performance, and ensures adherence to regulatory standards to maximize collection effectiveness.

You will coordinate with external partners and internal stakeholders to optimize endorsed portfolios, implement action plans, and ensure accurate billing

Qualifications

• Strong background in collections, remedial management, account recovery or portfolio management.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and negotiation abilities.
• Experience managing third-party vendors or collection agencies.

About The Role

We’re looking for a Remedial Collection Agency Manager who will oversee the accreditation, performance management, and compliance of third‑party collection agencies. This role is responsible for driving recovery strategies, monitoring agency performance, managing endorsed accounts, and ensuring adherence to bank and regulatory standards to maximize collection effectiveness and portfolio recovery.

What You’ll Do

• Manage the accreditation, renewal, and performance evaluation of third‑party collection agencies in accordance with Bank policies and standards.
• Oversee the endorsement, resolution, and pull‑out of accounts while ensuring agency compliance with operational, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and implement collection strategies, performance targets, and recovery plans to optimize portfolio performance.
• Monitor agency performance through regular reviews, audits, dashboard reporting, and site visits, ensuring compliance with Bank and BSP policies.
• Collaborate with agency partners and internal stakeholders to resolve issues, manage endorsed portfolios, recommend action plans, and ensure accurate billing and collection reporting.
