Job summary

Virtual Coworker is seeking a staffing coordinator to coordinate and allocate qualified care staff to vacant shifts, ensuring service continuity for aged care clients.

You will monitor rostering platforms like Shiftmatch, respond to shortages, maintain accurate records, communicate clearly with staff and schedulers, and escalate compliance concerns to the Brisbane team while providing admin support.

Qualifications

• Experience in aged care or healthcare, rostering, scheduling, or administration.
• Proven rostering or scheduling experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• High level of technical literacy across multiple systems.
• Strong organisation and time management with ability to prioritise.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and allocate qualified care staff to vacant shifts to ensure service continuity.
• Monitor rostering and scheduling platforms to secure and fill shifts efficiently.
• Respond promptly to urgent staffing shortages and scheduling issues.
• Maintain regular communication with care staff, schedulers, and internal teams.
• Update and maintain accurate workforce, client, and scheduling records.
• Ensure handovers and shift information are communicated clearly.
• Identify and escalate compliance concerns to the Brisbane team.
• Provide additional administrative and scheduling support as needed.
