About the role
This role involves maintaining and regularly updating the company's asset masterlist and inventory records, monitoring company assets such as office equipment, IT equipment, furniture, tools, vehicles, and other company-issued properties, and coordinating asset issuance, transfer, return, and acknowledgment processes across the organization.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and regularly update the company's asset masterlist and inventory records
- Monitor company assets such as office equipment, IT equipment, furniture, tools, vehicles, and other company-issued properties
- Record asset details including asset number, description, serial number, assigned employee, department, location, condition, and date of issuance
- Prepare and process asset issuance, transfer, return, and acknowledgment documents
- Coordinate the issuance and retrieval of company assets from employees, branches, and departments
- Monitor the movement and transfer of assets between branches, offices, employees, and other company locations
- Conduct and assist in physical asset inventory and periodic asset verification
- Reconcile physical assets against the company's masterlist and report discrepancies, missing assets, or unrecorded items
- Monitor the condition and status of company assets and coordinate concerns requiring repair, replacement, or disposal
- Prepare periodic asset inventory and utilization reports for management review
About you
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Office Administration, Accounting, Logistics, or a related field
- 1–2 years of experience in asset management, inventory, administrative work, logistics, or a related field is an advantage
- Knowledge of inventory and asset tracking procedures is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for maintaining asset records and preparing reports
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
- Detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate and updated records
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Able to handle multiple tasks and work with different departments
- Willing to conduct physical inventory and asset verification when required
- Experience in a logistics or fast-paced operational environment is an advantage
