Brenton International Venture Manufacturing Corporation is seeking an Asset and Inventory Control Officer to manage and optimize our asset and inventory data. You will support the Asset and Inventory Control Supervisor and ensure accuracy, accountability, and cost efficiency across physical assets.
Responsibilities include maintaining asset registers, conducting cycle counts, reconciling records, and generating weekly and monthly reports using ERP or inventory systems.
The Asset and Inventory Control Officer are responsible for managing, tracking, and optimizing an organization's physical assets and inventory to ensure accuracy, accountability, and cost efficiency. This position directly supports the Asset and Inventory Control Supervisor in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data within the asset and inventory systems and contributes to the efficient and secure management of company resources.
Maintain an accurate asset register, ensuring all acquisitions, transfers, and disposals are properly documented such as LPG cylinders, equipment, and vehicles
Conduct regular physical verification of inventory and reconcile results with records
Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical and recorded assets
Implement control measures to prevent loss, theft, or misuse of company assets
Ensure that assets are properly stored, maintained, and secured
Maintain up-to-date and accurate inventory records
Reconcile physical stock with balances through regular cycle counts and physical inventories
Oversee the proper receipt, storage, issuance, and transfer of inventory items
Encode and update information accurately in ERP or other inventory management systems
Prepare consolidated weekly and monthly reports on asset and inventory movement and submit them to the Supervisor
College Graduate (Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Basic understanding of asset and inventory control processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP or inventory systems
Good communication and coordination skills
High sense of integrity and accountability
Ability to work efficiently under supervision and meet deadlines
