Job summary

ST Telemedia Global Data Centre Philippines (in partnership with Globe) is seeking a Data Center Operations Specialist to oversee 24x7 onsite facilities, monitor BMS and critical systems, and coordinate with contractors to ensure continuous service and safety.

You will handle incident response, remote hands requests, and documentation within ITIL-aligned processes, while supporting audits and reporting for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related engineering field.
• 1–3 years in a 24x7 operations environment (data centers, NOCs, call centers).
• General knowledge of M&E and network critical infrastructure.
• Familiarity with DC facilities systems (PDUs, UPS, generators, cooling, fire protections).
• Good verbal and written English communications.

Responsibilities

• Monitor 24x7 onsite operations of data centre facilities.
• Act as first responder and Level 1 escalation for onsite incidents.
• Process remote hands requests within SLAs; update ticketing system.
• Maintain safety, security, and customer support policies on site.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors; review PTW documents.
• Prepare daily, health, and incident reports for stakeholders.
• Develop and update standard operating and emergency procedures.
