Job summary

Snoonu is a GCC-based homegrown Super App expanding across the region. As a Commercial Performance Analyst you’ll turn data into actions to improve listing conversion, optimize promotional spend, and uncover opportunities across Food, Groceries and Non-Food.

You will analyze the customer journey, evaluate campaigns, and translate insights for Account Managers, Category Managers and Acquisition teams, with clear owners and follow-up on results.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial analytics, business intelligence or performance analysis, ideally within e-commerce, food delivery, retail or a marketplace.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills
• A solid understanding of conversion funnels, promotional economics, customer retention and commercial performance metrics.
• Strong analytical judgment: you can explain why performance changed and recommend what the business should do next.
• Clear communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to turn complex analysis into practical recommendations.
• Experience supporting a new market launch or working in Oman or other GCC markets.
• Knowledge of restaurant, grocery or non-food marketplace operations.
• Experience with experimentation, forecasting, and/or automated reporting.

Responsibilities

• Analyze the customer journey from impressions and clicks to completed orders, recommending improvements to listing content, images, assortment, pricing and placement to increase conversion.
• Recommend which brands and products receive promotional investment, balancing growth potential, incremental orders, profitability and available budget.
• Evaluate campaign performance, including return on investment, cost per incremental order and customer repeat behavior, to identify which offers to scale, adjust or stop.
• Investigate growth and declines by city, category, brand and branch, separating the effects of traffic, conversion, availability, pricing and promotions.
• Translate findings into prioritized actions for Account Managers, Category Managers and Acquisition teams, with clear owners and follow-up on results.
• Identify assortment and availability gaps, high cancellations and other merchant issues that limit sales, working with Commercial, Operations and Product teams to resolve them.
