Job summary

Green Umbrella Recruitment is seeking a Managing Director (GCC) to lead our international logistics business from Muscat, Oman. The role demands full P&L responsibility, strategic growth, governance, and strong stakeholder engagement with clients, ports, and authorities across the GCC.

The MD will build a scalable regional organization, ensure compliant operations, and drive profitability while managing a diverse, multi‑cultural team in a fast‑paced, complex cargo environment.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in a large international logistics or transportation company.
• Strong experience in the GCC logistics market and regulatory frameworks.
• Proven track record in project logistics and heavy cargo, incl. renewables/infra.
• Full P&L ownership experience and strong commercial acumen.
• Experience managing large, multicultural teams.
• Strong contract negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
• Excellent understanding of risk management, compliance, and governance.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the GCC regional strategy in line with Board objectives.
• Own full P&L responsibility for the GCC region and drive revenue growth.
• Lead negotiations for major logistics, project cargo, and framework agreements.
• Ensure high-quality execution of logistics operations and compliance with laws.
