Job summary

Green Umbrella Recruitment in Muscat, Oman, seeks a Senior Project Engineer to lead EPC logistics management and international trade activities across complex projects. You will steer end-to-end logistics, procurement, and regulatory compliance, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to keep schedules on track.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years’ experience in EPC project management or international trade, with at least 5 years in logistics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Logistics, International Trade, Engineering Management, or related discipline.
• 7+ years total EPC project management or international trade experience; at least 5 years in logistics.
• Strong knowledge of import/export procedures, Incoterms, and customs policies.
• Excellent English communication, negotiation, and contract signing skills.
• Willing to be based in Oman and undertake overseas assignments.

Responsibilities

• Lead logistics feasibility studies during bidding, including cost estimates and feasibility reports.
• Procurement of logistics services, including supplier pre-qualification and tender documentation.
• Coordinate end-to-end logistics operations: customs, tax exemptions, export/import clearance, inland delivery.
• Manage cargo insurance coverage and claims with insurers.
• Liaise with government authorities to obtain permits and exemptions.
