Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in electrical sales or counter sales.
• Familiarity with switchgear, cables, lighting products, circuit breakers, wiring accessories.
• Able to prepare quotations, invoices, and sales orders.
• Experience with billing software or ERP systems is desirable (ERPNext or Tally advantageous).
• Good English and Arabic communication skills.

Responsibilities

Role Context

The Electrical Sales Executive supports daily sales counter operations by combining technical product knowledge with direct customer service. The position requires the ability to understand customer requirements, suggest suitable electrical materials, process commercial documentation, and coordinate product availability with warehouse teams. Accurate recommendations and efficient transaction handling help reduce ordering errors, improve customer satisfaction, support repeat business, and contribute directly to sales performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist walk-in customers and identify their electrical product requirements.
• Recommend suitable switchgear, cables, lighting products, wiring accessories, breakers, and related electrical materials.
• Explain relevant product features, applications, specifications, and available alternatives.
• Prepare quotations using approved pricing and confirmed customer requirements.
• Generate invoices and sales orders accurately through the applicable billing or ERP platform.
• Process cash and credit transactions while maintaining complete sales records.
• Promote suitable products and support achievement of individual and team sales targets.
• Follow up on customer quotations and pending inquiries where additional sales action is required.
• Coordinate with warehouse personnel to confirm stock availability and arrange order preparation.
• Communicate urgent or recurring customer requirements to relevant internal teams.
• Handle returns and exchanges according to established procedures.
• Coordinate warranty requests and maintain the required supporting documentation.
• Maintain accurate customer and transaction records.
• Build productive relationships with repeat customers and support long-term account retention.
• Provide regular sales activity and customer requirement updates to management.
• Maintain an organized sales counter and ensure customers receive timely assistance.

Ideal Profile

The preferred candidate should hold a Diploma or bachelor 's degree in Electrical Engineering and possess practical knowledge of electrical materials and components. Experience in electrical sales, counter sales, electrical trading, or a similar customer-facing commercial role is preferred. Familiarity with switchgear, cables, lighting products, circuit breakers, and wiring accessories will be particularly useful. Candidates should be comfortable preparing quotations, invoices, and sales orders and handling both cash and credit transactions.
