Job summary

Mogi I/O in Masqaţ, Oman, is seeking an Electrical Sales Executive - Counter Sales to combine technical knowledge with customer service. You will assist walk-in customers, prepare quotations and invoices, and process counter transactions while ensuring accurate documentation and order accuracy.

The ideal candidate has an electrical engineering background, experience in electrical sales or counter sales, and familiarity with ERP systems such as ERPNext or Tally.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in electrical sales or counter sales.
• Familiarity with switchgear, cables, lighting products, circuit breakers, wiring accessories.
• Able to prepare quotations, invoices, and sales orders.
• Experience with billing software or ERP systems is desirable (ERPNext or Tally advantageous).
• Good English and Arabic communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist walk-in customers and identify electrical product requirements.
• Recommend switchgear, cables, lighting products, wiring accessories, breakers.
• Explain product features and specifications to customers.
• Prepare quotations using approved pricing and customer requirements.
• Generate invoices and sales orders accurately in the ERP system.
• Process cash and credit transactions and keep records.
• Promote products and support sales targets.
• Coordinate with warehouse for stock availability and orders.
• Follow up on quotations and inquiries to close deals.
• Handle returns/exchanges and warranty requests per procedures.
• Maintain customer and transaction records for long-term relationships.
