Job summary

Mogi I/O is seeking an Electrical Sales Representative - Counter Sales in Masqaţ, Oman. You will guide customers in selecting switchgear, cables, lighting, and related products, while handling quotations, orders, and payments to meet sales targets.

The role blends technical product knowledge with frontline customer service, requiring bilingual communication in English and Arabic, and experience in a retail-counter environment. Local market knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Experience in electrical sales, counter sales or electrical trading preferred.
Comfort with preparing quotations, invoices and sales orders; handling cash and credit transactions.

Responsibilities

Assist walk-in customers and determine their electrical product requirements.
Recommend suitable products based on customer needs, availability and applications.
Provide information on switchgear, cables, lighting, wiring accessories, breakers and related materials.
Prepare accurate quotations covering products, quantities, and pricing.
Create sales orders and invoices through billing/ERP platform.
Process cash and credit transactions with accurate records.
Promote electrical products and contribute to sales targets.
Follow up on quotations and outstanding inquiries.
Coordinate with warehouse to confirm stock and product availability.
Communicate customer requirements to warehouse for order preparation.
