Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking an Airport Services Supervisor in Salalah to oversee airport services agents and a Ground Handler, ensuring high-quality service to Salamair passengers across check-in, boarding, and baggage handling.

You will lead front-line staff, allocate duties on shifts, and ensure compliance with safety and company standards while coordinating with OCC, immigration, and terminal management. A Diploma or 3+ years in Ground Services is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university, or 3+ years' experience in Ground Services.
• Established team player with good written and verbal communication and basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Organize allocation of agents to check-in, Departures/Transfer, Ramp or Arrivals on a rotating basis.
• Set up check-in area with desks, manpower and resources; monitor OV and GHA.
• Monitor passenger flow and queue times; adjust desk allocation; liaise with immigration and terminal management.
• Enforce flight opening/closure times, baggage policies, and documentation requirements.
• Provide assistance and information to passengers and stakeholders as needed.
• Coordinate with OCC and GHA to start and close boarding.
• Assist passengers through security, immigration, and transfers; assist with baggage and connections.
• Ensure safe embarkation/disembarkation and monitor turnaround and baggage handling.
• Assist arrivals and baggage reclaim; support delays or disruption.
• Mentor junior staff and lead by example.

TheAirport Services Supervisor oversees and coordinates the activities of AirportServices agents and appointed Ground Handler to ensure consistent delivery ofhigh-quality service to Salamair passengers in respect of check-in, boarding,special services, ramp operations and baggage services. Ensuring the consistentapplication of the company’s commercial and safety standards and procedures,the ASVR provides support, leadership and coaching to the front-line staffengaged in ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of all passengers.

Duties andResponsibilities:

• Organizeallocation of agents to check-in, Departures/Transfer, Ramp or Arrivals on arotating basis and provide briefings on a shift by shift basis;
  
• Setup check-in area and ensure correct allocation of desks, manpower and otherresources, monitoring activities of OV and Ground Handling Agents (GHA);
  
• Monitorpassenger flow and queue times providing assistance and adjusting deskallocation as required, including liaison with immigration, Security andauthority’s terminal management;
  
• Ensureproper enforcement of flight opening/closure times, baggage policies, CreditChecks and documentation requirements;
  
• Provideassistance and information to passengers and stakeholders as necessary;
  
• Liaisewith OCC and GHA and organize staff to ensure timely commencement and close outof boarding process;
  
• Assistpassenger progress through security, immigration and transfer areas and assistwith baggage and flight connections;
  
• Ensuresafe passenger embarkation and disembarkation processes and monitor turn-roundhandling and baggage handling activities within company/regulatory safety andsecurity guidelines;
  
• Assistpassenger arrivals and baggage reclaim process and offer any assistance asnecessary;

Requirements

• The AirportServices Supervisor should have the good knowledge of aviation related ofGround Services functions and Operations.
  
• EducationalQualifications & Experience –A Diploma/Graduatein any discipline from any recognized University or minimum 03 years’experience in Ground Services related functions.
  
• Established team player andteam builder with proficiency in written, verbal communication skill with basiccomputer knowledge.
