Job summary

Salam Air is seeking an Airport Services Supervisor to oversee the activities of Airport Services agents and the Ground Handler team, ensuring high-quality service for passengers in check-in, boarding, ramp operations and baggage handling.

You will lead staff, monitor safety, and coordinate with OCC, immigration and terminal management to maintain smooth passenger flow and on-time departures. A Diploma/Graduate and several years in ground services are expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Graduate qualification in any discipline from a recognized university.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Ground Services related functions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Organize allocation of airport services agents to check-in, departures, transfers, ramp, or arrivals on a rotating basis and brief on a shift-by-shift basis.
• Set up check‑in areas, allocate desks, manpower and resources, and monitor operations with OV and Ground Handling Agents.
• Ensure passengers progress through security, immigration and transfer areas smoothly and assist with baggage handling and flight connections.
• Monitor adherence to flight opening/closing times, baggage policies and documentation requirements; liaise with OCC and GHA as needed.
• Coach and mentor junior staff, identify safety risks, and maintain standards per AOSP guidelines.
