A leading pest control company is seeking a Field Operator in Mosgiel, New Zealand. The role involves engaging in large-scale pest control projects in stunning landscapes, requiring physical stamina and the ability to work independently. Candidates should have hunting experience and a full driver's license. Competitive rates and on-the-job training are offered, along with shared accommodations while away working.

A key strength of our expertise lies in our end-to-end project management service, where we leverage our experience in successfully managing complex projects of all sizes, customised to fit the specific needs of each landscape.
As a Field Operator, you’ll take part in large-scale pest control projects in some of New Zealand’s most remote and iconic landscapes, using trapping and toxin deployment methods against common pests like Wallabies, Possums, Ungulates. In return, you’ll gain practical experience, work toward industry qualifications, and join a team that values grit, reliability, and results.
This is physically demanding, full-time outdoor work, ideal for those who back their stamina and enjoy working hard as part of a solid team.
Despite our Otago base being situated in Mosgiel, our team frequently travel to operational sites across the South Island, providing the opportunity to experience New Zealand off the beaten track. In this role, a large majority of the time you will be required to stay away for the working week (Mon - Fri) plus the occasional 10-day stint, with accommodation and meals provided.
Successful candidates must complete a pre-employment assessment, including medical, reference, and criminal background checks, meeting Rentokil Initial's satisfactory criteria.
