Porirua Toyota is seeking a Workshop Controller / Service Advisor Team Leader to join our busy service department in Porirua. You will allocate jobs to technicians, monitor progress, communicate with customers, and lead a positive, customer-focused workshop environment.

The role requires strong leadership, multitasking ability, and a proactive, organised approach to keep vehicles on time and customers informed throughout the service process.

Responsibilities

• Workshop Control: allocate jobs to technicians as vehicles arrive and manage workflow
• Time Management: monitor progress and ensure on-time completion for collection
• Additional Work Sales: communicate and sell additional repairs/maintenance
• Customer Communication: provide updates and manage expectations on costs and timelines
• Team Leadership: collaborate with service advisors and technicians to keep a productive workshop
• Customer Experience: model exceptional service in every customer interaction
• Problem Solving: adapt to changing priorities and find quick solutions
