Metlifecare’s Kapiti Village in Paraparaumu is seeking a customer focused receptionist to provide front-desk and administrative support. You’ll be the first point of contact for residents, staff, contractors and visitors, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and smooth service delivery.

Reporting to the Village Manager, the role covers reception, general admin, and safety awareness, with a 26.5 hour week Sun-Wed.

Qualifications

• Experience in a reception/front-of-house role.
• Excellent admin and computer skills.
• Customer-focused with a welcoming attitude.
• Willing to obtain first aid certification.
• Ability to work alone at reception and respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes visitors and answers calls in a warm, professional manner.
• Keeps the reception area neat and tidy.
• Provides general admin support to the team.
• Monitors health and safety issues.
