Te Tumu Waiora is part of access and choice across greater Christchurch providing mental health support through medical practices in primary care settings with health coaches and support workers.
In your capacity as the Team Coach and part of the Pathways regional leadership team, you’ll provide frontline management and support to a team of health coaches and support workers across a number of medical practices in greater Christchurch. You’ll motivate your team and encourage a strong sense of inclusion within Pathways, especially as your team collaborates without daily interaction.
You’ll also be able to develop and maintain strong relationships with GP practices and frontline managers from other partnering NGOs.
Ideally you will have a health professional background, and experience working as a frontline manager in a primary health context.
The ideal candidate will be a health professional with a current registration who has experience working in the mental health industry, ideally with management and leadership knowledge. This could be a Nurse, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist or AOD with understanding of primary health sector an advantage, and the ability to build strong relationships with a number of stakeholders across primary health and NGO sector.
