Job summary

Pathways in Wellington is seeking an inspirational and motivated Clinical Team Coach to lead a six-bed Residential Recovery Service for adults aged 55+ with mental health challenges. You will oversee a team of Support Workers and work with health and community partners to ensure connected, quality care.

The role requires RN or OT registration with APC, strong leadership and coaching skills, and a commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and Māori engagement. Mon-Fri, with on-call duties in Wellington.

Qualifications

  • Current registration as a Registered Health Professional (RN or OT) with current APC.
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams, ideally within NGO/community-based settings.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, supervise and mentor support staff.
  • Clinical experience working in mental health and addiction.
  • A current full New Zealand driver's license.
  • A current New Zealand first aid certificate, or willingness to obtain one.
  • Demonstrated cultural competence in working with Māori and understanding Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

We're looking for an inspirational and motivated leader to take on the exciting opportunity as a full-time Clinical Team Coach in Wellington. This role involves overseeing a six-bed Residential Recovery Service for adults aged 55+ with existing mental health challenges.

You'll lead a capable team of Support Workers, while collaborating with health and community providers to ensure seamless, connected support for six adults aged 55+ and their whānau.

This is a permanent, full-time position. You will be working Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm. Based in Wellington. You will also contribute to an on-call roster.

We're seeking a Registered Nurse or Occupational Therapist with proven leadership and mental health experience, who balances clinical expertise with genuine connection and enjoys supporting their team to grow and deliver high-quality care.

  • Current registration as a Registered Health Professional (preferably Registered Nurse or Occupational Therapist) with current APC
