Job summary

Pathways Health Ltd in Henderson, Auckland, NZ, seeks dedicated support workers for a full-time role (Tue–Sat, 11:30am–8:00pm) to assist tangata whai ora with daily living, meal prep, and wellness activities. Join a progressive organisation focused on mental health and addiction support within the Waitemata Acute Community Mobile team.

You will report to the team coach and work in a nine-person team across three sites, delivering short-term, intensive support in partnership with Te Whatu Ora

Qualifications

  • Current full New Zealand driver’s licence.
  • Current first aid certificate or willingness to obtain one.
  • NZCHW or recognised equivalent.

  • Connect them with resources that support them in living well and assist them in building resilience.
  • Help people connect with their communities, building the relationships that matter most.
  • Foster positive change for a more positive life.
  • Provide medication support for our people.
  • Support with attending appointments.

About the role | Mō tēneitūranga mahi
You will report to our teamcoach and work in our Waitemata Acute Community Mobile team. We are a team of 9 support workers across three sites. We are a unique responsive service thatco-locates and collaborates closely in partnership with the Te Whatu OraWaitemata Acute Clinical team to provide support for tangata whai ora to offer short-term, intensive and intentionalsupport for people who are experiencing distress of unwellness.
This is a full-timeposition working Tuesday - Saturday, 11:30am – 8:00pm, based in Henderson,Auckland.

You will also have:


  • Current full New Zealand driver’s licence
  • Current first aid certificate or be willing to obtain one
  • Applicants must hold the New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (NZCHW) or a recognised equivalent.
  • Preferred experience in Mental Health or similar
  • Knowledge of, and demonstrable commitment to, the principles of the Te Tiriti o Waitangi
